“My purpose is to guide individuals in reconnecting with their heart, body, mind, and the present moment through yoga.”
Cheryl has been teaching yoga and mindfulness since 2017, working with studios, corporates, schools, NGOs, and private clients in Hong Kong and Vietnam—including at Pure Yoga. She first came to yoga seeking relief from scoliosis-related back pain and fatigue. During one early class, a simple act of focusing on her hand during a pose brought a rare sense of presence, calm, and clarity that deeply moved her.
With each practice, Cheryl became more attuned to her bodily sensations and mental state, noticing growth in strength, flexibility, and self-understanding. Yoga taught her the transformative power of breath, stillness, and movement—principles now supported by modern research highlighting their benefits for well-being and health.
Warm and attentive, Cheryl offers private sessions tailored to meet each student’s unique needs—whether the goal is to release tension, improve mobility, build strength, restore calm, or find deep relaxation. Known for her calming presence, gentle pacing, and attention to detail, she creates a safe, inclusive space for all bodies and backgrounds. Sessions begin with a check-in and may include breathing exercises, mindful movement, and guided relaxation. Cheryl provides thoughtful, personalized adjustments and alignment cues to support effective movement.
She believes that creating a better world starts from within, by caring for one’s mind, body, and heart.
